I have had this for months, and only now do I realize. Have I really become so blind, or have I let my dislike of this journal cloud my perceptions, so that I did not pay as close attention as I should?
The clues were there. The name. The handwriting. The personality behind the handwriting. She recognized my handwriting and tried to clumsily deny it.
And yet I did not see, despite everything.
