The reports Brother John has been giving me concerning Lady Irene appear to be...somewhat satisfactory. Somewhat. And at least he is doing something useful for once by beginning to tutor her in Megam.
Her journal proved to be interesting reading. Quite interesting. I will need to question her further...while her writing revealed much of what has led her to this point, hearing it from her own lips is also necessary.
Passion. So often the cause of sin and downfall.
Is she truly repentant.
I wonder.
