It is almost the Day of Everlasting Light. It seems to sneak up out of nowhere. It is an important day for all of us, so I should not have to remind people to begin preparations for it. It seems a given that they should begin them on their own without being told. Perhaps I should prepare myself to do this every year. We may never gain the same enthusiastic spirit those in Lucre have, but we should at least be on par with the rest of the church.
There are other matters to attend to as well...

Your son is doing very well so far. He does seem to miss you very much, but there is nothing that can be done about that...Though I am sure you feel the same about him.
