I am afraid we have not spoken since the events revolving around Lady Eve's incursion into our territory to kill Miss Irene. I thought it best to wait until you had left our "cloyingly quiet and depressing" city to thank you, and then I lost my note to myself to do it. Your service was invaluable, and as you have no doubt already found out, you are a bit of a hero among those who participated.
I really should do a better job of separating business and pleasure though. I am really writing to you because I am curious about flying. Perhaps it is a little bit of nerves, but I would prefer to be taken up on an animal that does not hate me from the outset. I have heard that pegasi are anxious around men.
Would you have a problem taking me up for a flight?
